SYLLABUS US History 2019-2020

We will use an on-line text for reading assignments.

Supplies:   

A pencil, or pen (dark blue, or black ink only) no sparkly or glittery pen colors. I am old and do not like them. Lined paper; either in a three-ring binder or spiral notebook. 

Most assignments will be done through Google Classroom and turned in on-line. We will supply the Chromebook during class time.

Grading:

Homework:  Consists of  reading or completion of a Classwork assignment. This grade will be reflected in the Classwork and Quizzes categories. If you do not do the reading, the quizzes will be difficult.

Classwork:  25%

Quizzes:      25%

Projects:      30%

Final:           20%

Extra credit:    0% There is no extra credit in this class.

Daily classwork and homework will be sent to you via Google Classroom. Check your email daily. It is your responsibility to stay current. If there is something you do not understand about what we do; please ask for help. If you fall behind; please ask for help. If you are absent; please ask for help.
